Description

A social media platform hired A2 Design Inc. to develop a mobile app. The team is tasked with creating a backend of the platform.

Challenge

A2 Deisgn was hired to develop the back-end and front of both apps. The main goal was to create high functioning version 1 products.

Solutions

We successfully put together a development strategy, product roadmap and more. * We use Jira to manage software development. * Slack for communication * Invision for design and prototyping * Miro for product mapping We also used Java for our backend development, react and react native for front end + some Ruby on Rails. We first built out a web app and shortly after transitioned into building out mobile apps.

Impact

In the process of work we have achieved certain successes:

A2 Design has developed a functional horse sport events management web platform that has different user roles with unique features, and where the participants of the competition are able to be nominated and the secretaries are able to process their nominations;
Successfully integrated two platforms built with different technologies, and made them seamless for end-users;
The integrated version was released back in September 2021 and the team continues to meet the client's expectations by adding new features and maintaining a unified application.
